My work focuses on creating healthy coping skills, reframing ineffective behaviors, and finding solutions. The techniques you'll see in sessions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and other integrative approaches. I combine the science of psychology with the art of the human experience to help you create a plan for success."

What to expect in therapy

The initial meeting is a 10-15 minute consultation at no charge to you. We will meet to discuss a plan for our work together, navigate any insurance/payment questions, and introduction to the online portal where we'll meet.

The first session will be an intake session where I'll get to know you and your story better. By the end of the first session, we'll have a plan for therapy complete with goals.

Usually, I prefer to meet more often in the beginning as we start to explore your concerns. With each session, we informally reevaluate your progress. Feedback is encouraged. Depending on your financial situation, we will discuss the scheduling plan that works for you.

When we reach a crossroads in life, we might feel stressed or anxious because of the life transition. Together we can collaborate to heal stuck points. This might include things such as a change in career, relocation, changing family dynamics, multicultural concerns, adjustment to college, racial/inequality stressors, concerns around sexual orientation, or reaching personal milestones. Regardless of the reasons, I use a strength-based approach. In sessions, we will work as a team to introduce perspectives that will help you connect with your true self.
You deserve to feel heard, find your voice, and overcome obstacles through empowerment and compassion. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I’m passionate about creating resources for individuals struggling with anxiety and life transitions and am interested in participating in workshops, speaking engagements, webinars, and podcasts.
